Rodrygo Transfer Update: Real Madrid Receive No Serious Offers Despite €100M Price Tag

Despite months of speculation and a summer full of transfer buzz, Rodrygo Goes remains a Real Madrid player — and that might not change anytime soon.

According to sources close to the club, no significant offers have arrived for the Brazilian forward, and as things stand, there is no active market for him at the €100 million valuation Real Madrid have set.

Tottenham’s Offer Rejected by the Player

Of all the clubs previously linked — including Arsenal, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich — only Tottenham Hotspur made a concrete approach. Spurs reportedly matched Madrid’s €100M asking price, but Rodrygo is said to have rejected the move outright, viewing it as a step backward in his career.

The 23-year-old has Champions League pedigree, multiple league titles, and a Club World Cup under his belt. A move to a club outside the current UCL elite simply doesn’t align with his ambitions at this stage of his career.

Mutual Willingness to Part Ways – But No Path Forward

Sources indicate that while Rodrygo is not actively pushing for a move, both he and Real Madrid are open to a departure — if the right offer arrives. The arrival of Kylian Mbappé and the continued rise of Endrick and Arda Güler have created serious competition in the final third, and playing time could become limited for Rodrygo.

However, the lack of substantial offers has frozen the situation. Interested clubs may be wary of the price tag, or uncertain about how to integrate Rodrygo into their tactical systems. Others may be waiting until later in the window to see how their own squad situations evolve.

What’s Next?

With under a month to go before the transfer window shuts, there’s still time for movement — but unless a Champions League-caliber club comes forward with an acceptable project and offer, Rodrygo will likely stay at the Bernabéu.

From a sporting standpoint, Real Madrid are comfortable keeping him. Rodrygo has always been a reliable performer in big matches, and his tactical versatility allows Xabi Alonso flexibility in attack. But from a business angle, Madrid would not oppose a transfer if it unlocked space for further reinforcements or resolved the current squad congestion.
